Q: It’s a garden but we fall within the boundary of the national park so was wondering if the mobile caravan trick still applies? Use would be home office / occasional spare room / possibly granny annex in time.
A: National parks etc restrict permitted development rights… please note that siting a caravan is not development, or a building, and nothing to do with permitted development rights that apply for sheds etc… unless there was a covenant placed on your property you shouldn’t have a problem applying for a certificate of lawfulness in a national park.
